Priya Shyam leads the Urban Design, Architecture and the Interior Design team at Design Sync Collaborative. She has nurtured the practice into a creative and collaborative studio capable of handling projects of varied scales. With a key focus  on robust design processes, she is passionate towards research and human centric designs.

Experience

Priya is an Architect- receiving her Bachelor of Architecture degree First class Honours, (2002) from  Sir   J. J. college of Architecture , Mumbai.  Later after a year of experience she completed Masters in Building Engineering & Management (2005) - School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. She has specialized in the field of Design Co-ordination, Drawing content according to UDS system , Contract management &  Design Review Processes.

She honed her skills at Sewri Consultants, Dutta Kannan Architects and Cushman & Wakefield India Pvt Ltd, working across Bangalore, Pune & Mumbai- prior to co-founding Design Sync. A keen learner at heart, over the years she has completed numerous short-term courses ranging from Biomimicry in Architecture, Parametric design, Tools and software applications on climate responsive architecture etc.

Priya is Registered Architect with Council of Architecture, GOI. She is also a Member of the group Women in Real Estate (WIRE).
